Viewing Your InstaView Downloaded Content How do I know what information was downloaded through Juno InstaView? When Juno InstaView is done downloading all of the required information, you will receive a pop-up listing out information that was retrieved. This popup will appear in the lower right-hand screen above the system tray and you can click on any of the links to access the downloaded information.
How do I read the downloaded mail? When you receive the Juno InstaView message informing you that information was downloaded, you can access it as soon as you start Juno to establish an Internet connection. It is during that time when the software is dialing that the Inbox and Web pages that were downloaded appear. They are made available offline so that you do not have to wait for a connection to be completely established to review your messages or home page. Then when you are connected, you will be able to access the rest of your Email on the Web Mailbox and other Web pages that were not downloaded.
Will I be able to click on links from the Offline Web pages? The Web pages that are downloaded are only available to you when you begin establishing an Internet connection manually. If you click on a link that leads to a different online Web page, as soon as the Internet connection is reached, you will be taken to that page.
Can I send email from the Offline Inbox? The Mailbox that is downloaded is only available to you when you begin establishing an Internet connection manually. If you click on the Write tab, you will be taken to that screen as soon as the connection has been established. During the time the software is dialing in to the Internet, only the main Inbox of Email on the Web is available.
If I have not viewed Offline pages before the next Juno InstaView session, will the information on the Web pages be updated? Every time an Juno InstaView session occurs, the same information is downloaded and updated. If you have not manually connected to the Internet before the next Juno InstaView session takes place, all of the previously downloaded content will be discarded and the most up to date information that is available will be gathered. This helps to ensure that you are receiving the newest information available, whether it is email messages or Web pages.
Can I review all of my messages (Read/Sent/Junk/Personal Folders) messages after the Juno InstaView session? Juno InstaView will only download the mail that is in your main Inbox on the first page of messages including New and Read messages. This means that when a connection is being established, only the first page of your Inbox will be accessible until you are online. You can read through the different messages on this page then as soon as Connect on Demand has finished, you will be able to access the other folders.
Why weren't all of my new messages downloaded? Juno InstaView only gathers the email from the first page of your Email on the Web Inbox. If you have chosen to show only 10 messages on one page and you received 15 new messages, only the first ten would be downloaded and available during the time an Internet connection is being established. If you want more of your new messages to appear on the first page of your Inbox, then you should change your Folder Display setting. Click here to learn more.
If I have set up Sort and Delete settings, will the messages still be sorted according to my specifications? If you have created Sort and Delete settings and new mail is moved into folders other than Inbox, you will NOT be notified of those messages through Juno InstaView. You will need to establish an Internet connection to check for new messages that may have been sorted into different folders.
