Why do you charge a Processing & Handling fee?

Unlike regular dial-up, which uses your existing phone signal and requires no special preparation, your phone line has to be specially configured in order to receive DSL service. The Processing & Handling fee covers the cost of making your phone line DSL-ready.

While other services might have a lower Processing & Handling fee up front, they may include a monthly rental or service charge for the DSL modem, increasing their overall cost.

Juno DSL provides you with a Free DSL modem and all the equipment you need to get online with DSL service. We also give you a full suite of Internet services valued at over $100 per year (if purchased separately) including:

• Norton Anti-Virus: To protect your computer from viruses, worms, Trojan horses, spyware, adware, and phishing scams ($2.95 per month)
• MegaMail: Providing you with 2GB of mail storage, an address book capable of storing 5000 contacts, and other useful features ($9.95 per year)

Providing these services for free to our members is one way Juno DSL gives you more value for your money compared to other service providers.
