If I download messages into Juno from an external email account, will the messages still be accessible from my other account? (Juno 5.0)

When you check your external account for mail, any messages received at this account are downloaded to your computer. Depending on your configuration, you can have Juno delete these messages from your external email account, or you can have Juno leave a copy of these messages in your external email account so that you can access them when you connect to that account.


To configure settings for downloaded external email account messages:

  1. Go to the Options menu, point to Email Preferences, and click Link to External Email Accounts.
  2. On the Link to External Email Accounts screen, select your account from the account list and click Edit account.
  3. To have Juno delete messages from your external email account, select the Delete my messages from this account after downloading them checkbox. Clear this checkbox if you want Juno to leave a copy of your downloaded messages in your external email account.
  4. Click OK. The Link to External Email Accounts window will appear.
  5. Click Done.
