Creating a New Account After CD or Disk Installation - Double-click the Juno icon on your desktop.
 - Click the circle next to Create an account, sign up and click Continue.
 - The Choose a Connection Type window will appear. If you would like to connect to the Internet using a dial-up modem, leave the circle next to Juno Dial-up Internet Access checked. If you prefer to hear your modem while you are being connected, click the circle next to No for the question Would you like to mute the modem?
 If you already have a high-speed Internet service and want to connect to Juno using a DSL, cable or a LAN connection, click the circle next to Use Another Connection. To see the 'Advanced Dialup Settings', click Please click here for advanced settings.  If you would like to enable Connect on Startup which establishes an Internet connection as soon as your computer is turned on, check the box next to I want to connect to the Internet each time I start my computer. To enable Connect on Demand (Juno Turbo Members only), you must check the box next to Automatically connect when I click on a link or open a browser. This feature allows you to connect to the Internet when you choose an offline link such as one found in a text document. Check the box next to Automatically redial if I'm accidentally disconnected from the Internet to enable Auto Reconnect. This feature allows you to reconnect to the Internet without having to open the NetZero Welcome screen and go through the whole sign on process. When you are disconnected and this feature is enabled, a pop-up will appear asking whether or not you would like to redial into NetZero or if you would like to remain offline. Select the appropriate option and Auto Reconnect will act accordingly. Note: You must have your computer connected to your phone line at all times to take advantage of these three options. If you would like to enable Connect on Startup which establishes an Internet connection as soon as your computer is turned on, check the box next to I want to connect to the Internet each time I start my computer. To enable Connect on Demand (Juno Turbo Members only), you must check the box next to Automatically connect when I click on a link or open a browser. - The Set Up a Dialing Location screen will appear. Enter the area code and the phone number you are dialing from.
 - In the box that says Please provide a name for this Dialing Location, type in a name of your choice (e.g. Home or Office).
Note: The default setting is Home. - If you would like to disable call waiting, click the circle next to Yes for Question 3. Do you want to disable call waiting?
Note: You must have the call waiting facility on your phone for this to function. For more instructions click the Tell Me More link.  - If you need to dial a number to reach an outside line, click the circle next to Yes for Question 4. and input the number (i.e. 8 or 9).
- If you would like to setup advanced dialing rules, click Advanced and add the appropriate dialing preference(s).
- Click Continue.
- The Juno software will now dial an 800 number to download the most current list of access numbers.
- The Select Access Numbers screen will appear. Based on the information you provide, you will see a list of access numbers that are local to you. If you would like to view the access numbers for another area code, select the appropriate area code from the drop-down menu next to View access numbers for another area code.
 - Click the checkboxes next to the access numbers you want to use.
- If you need to dial a '1' before a number, click the checkbox under Dial '1' next to the corresponding number.
- If you need to dial an area code before a number, click the checkbox under Area Code next to the corresponding number
Note: You may need to Dial 1 and the Area Code for numbers that are not local to you. WARNING: THE USE OF SOME TELEPHONE ACCESS NUMBERS MAY RESULT IN LONG DISTANCE CHARGES. IN SELECTING YOUR ACCESS NUMBER(S), PLEASE NOTE THAT ALTHOUGH AN ACCESS NUMBER MAY BE IN YOUR AREA CODE OR LOCATED IN YOUR GENERAL GEOGRAPHIC REGION, IT MAY NOT NECESSARILY BE A LOCAL NUMBER FOR YOU. YOU MAY INCUR SUBSTANTIAL TELEPHONE CHARGES IF YOU CHOOSE ACCESS NUMBERS THAT ARE NOT COVERED BY YOUR LOCAL CALLING PLAN. WE URGE YOU TO CHECK WITH YOUR TELEPHONE COMPANY TO FIND OUT WHICH NUMBERS ARE LOCAL FOR YOU BEFORE USING A NUMBER FROM THIS LIST. Note: You are solely responsible for all telephone charges related to accessing our services. Juno will not reimburse you for any such charges, including long distance or toll charges. - When you are satisfied with your number selections, click Continue.
- The Congratulations screen will appear. Your chosen list of access numbers will appear according to your settings. If you need to make any changes, click Back.
 - Click Connect to log on to Juno.
 - You will be taken to a registration Web page. Follow the on-screen steps to create your account.
